In January 2017 our fantastic Open Data platform (http://opendatacommunities.org/ will be upgraded to the latest version with some new and pretty cool data tools to sit alongside the excellent tools already available. The Scottish Government are on the latest version and you can get a feel for the improvements we’ll get or seek inspiration by seeing their version in action at http://statistics.gov.scot/.
The new tools will include new and improved geospatial tools, a data cart allowing you to select multiple data sources for comparison and a profiling tool providing summary data about a geographical area.
We'll still publish data as 5* Linked Data so you can take advantage of data already linked
